Research into specific magazines/ potential competition

I have done some research for my magazine to look at the existing magazines on the market and the competition my magazine would have. I have used the internet and published magazines to find out the prices, frequency and features of the potential competition.

My research has helped me make decisions with the creation of my magazine for things such as the images I will shoot, the price and ideas of the contents. My research has helped me a lot in deciding the image of the magazine, each item used on the magazine has a denotation and connotation so I have to be aware of the effect this will have on my target audience and how it will appeal to them.
