For this task I have used two potential competition magazines to analyse: DJ Mag and mixmag
From this task I have learnt some of the features of a magazine such as the typical layout, the front cover, the content and the advertisments. With everything that goes into the magazine has a purpose and meaning which helps portray the magazines image. For example, David Guetta on the front cover of "mix mag", the connotation of this is to portray a up to date view on the music world because he is a very popular artist who is currently in the well known in the music media industry.
Also, this task has enabled me to view the typical features of music magazine.
